The Holy Bible was written by divinely inspired men and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for living. Because it is inspired by God, it is completely true. It is living and active and judges the thoughts and actions of man.
God is the Supreme Being; the Creator and Ruler of all that is; the Self-existent One who is perfect in power, goodness, and wisdom. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is a personal God, actively engaged in the affairs of man.
GOD THE FATHER
God as Father reigns with providential care over His universe, His creatures, and the flow of the stream of human history according to the purposes of His grace. He is all powerful, all knowing, all loving, and all wise. God is Father in truth to those who become children of God through faith in Jesus Christ. He is fatherly in His attitude toward all men.

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus, born of a virgin lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days, revealing His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again in power and glory to judge the world, complete his redemptive mission, and reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world and calls men to the faith in Jesus Christ. He dwells in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He leads the Christian to understand and apply spiritual truth. He empowers the Christian to walk a path pleasing to God. The Christian seeks to yield to His control daily, allowing the Spirit to produce the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control in the life of the believer.
Man is made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. Because man is in God’s image, he is the most important work of God’s creation. However, man’s attitude and actions of disobedience, called sin, have caused us to die spiritually, hopelessly separating us from God’s intended intimate love relationship with Him. This has left each of us in need of rescue.
Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or in union with God, through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.
Salvation is a gift from God to man. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. Man can only be saved from sin’s penalty by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith and begins the process of transformation for the believer into the character of Christ which God will complete. Because God gives man the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives this security.
The church is not a building, denomination or business. There is One Church made up of all those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation. This is the body of Christ. Local churches are gatherings of members of the Body of Christ. The local church is where believers encourage, teach, and build one another up in the knowledge and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a community that provides an environment where we can help one another grow in our relationship with Christ. Fellowship in a local church is essential to a believer’s Christian growth.
Genuine worship happens as we commit ourselves to live out every area of our lives to God. Each day we worship as we sacrifice our personal desires to follow Christ’s example of love for God and for others. True worship is guided by the Spirit and founded upon God’s true word. Worship is more than simply the gathering of believers.
